Standlake title Village Info Title  
   
 

Standlake is situated on the A415 approximately 5 miles south of the market town of Witney in the County of Oxfordshire. The city of Oxford lies some 10 miles to the northeast. The River Windrush flows through the village and joins the River Thames at Newbridge, 2 miles to the south. Map

In 1998, the population of Standlake was 1249 and today there are approximately 500 dwellings. The village supports a Church of England Primary School, with around 100 pupils, a Post Office and Stores, two Pubs serving good food, a full service garage plus numerous small to medium businesses located within the village and at two light industrial parks.
