Village Information

Historical Society

The Village Hall lies in Rack End on the north-east corner of Standlake. Built in 1988 in the local stone, it adjoins the playing field, tennis courts and a children's playground. A new patio has been built at the back and will be much used in the summer months.

There is parking for 40 - 50 cars and there is wheelchair ramp access from the car park to both the main hall and the patio.

The Hall is well used by local people with various groups and clubs having regular bookings six days a week. It is very popular for children's parties and other functions, including wedding receptions.
